Welcome to the persistent world of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game ''Black Moon Chronicles, Winds of War™'' , a game adapted from the ''Chroniques de la Lune Noire©'' created by François Marcela Froideval.
Amando Blasco from Bruma Studios Holds exclusive rights of reproduction in 2D and/or 3D isometric for the universe of the ''Black Moon Chronicles''. Commercial Exploitation of the universe of François Marcella Froideval is done under the name of ''BlackMoon Chronicles – Winds Of War™''. Only Bruma Studios can create a product using and/or based on its content. Whoever wants to use in whole or part a product inspired from it must have the written and stamped permission of Bruma Studios.
Bruma Studios does not allow account exchange or transfer. The company Bruma Studios wishes to reiterate its customers that all components of the characters, their possessions, equipment, gold, are the ownership of the company. Any act of trade around the product ''BlackMoon Chronicles – Winds Of War™'' may result in lawsuits.
You must be at least 18 years old to access an account. A parent or tutor may give access to a minor but, by agreeing to the terms of service of Black Moon Chronicles Winds of War in his stead, he assumes responsibility. At any time, the owner of an access to an account is responsible for the actions that are carried out with it.
The choice of the name of your character must be done by maintaining a certain ethic. The company reserves the right to change a name which would not correspond to the image which it wishes to show. Therefore, the chosen names must not, under any account, refer to insults, coarse language, vulgar words or words of a violent nature. Names of a sexual or religious nature are also prohibited. Names using abbreviations, jargon, numbers or symbols are not accepted either. If the name which you have chosen is considered inappropriate, a Game Master will invite you to find a new one and will proceed to the change. If you persevere, your character will be erased and the account will be subjected to penalties (refer to the chapter ''The Penalties'').
Property of Data and game access
Only customers with a valid and active account may have access to the game ''Black Moon Chronicles – Winds Of War. When a client pays the access fee to an account, it becomes valid and immediately usable by the customer. In case of a fault or of a non-compliance with the general conditions of use of the service proposed by Bruma Studios the account can be temporarily either deactivated or definitively closed. All the virtual data of BlackMoon Chronicles - Winds Of War™ belongs to Bruma Studios.
Cheating, fraud or using a bug…
The policy of Bruma Studios in regards to cheating programs or other software manipulation used to obtain an illegal advantage is sanctioned by the immediate and irrevocable closing of the account. The account becomes inactive and the client can no longer recover its access. The rules also prohibit any software or manipulation allowing the player to affect the functionality of the game. In each case mentioned above, we will close the account and the client will lose any chance of reimbursement.
Theft of object/account and scam
The policy of Bruma Studios regarding theft of account and objects using misinformation or mail scam is to sanction according to the seriousness of the offense for a definite duration, or by the closing of the account, as defined in the chapter called ''The Sanctions''.
Most accounts thefts are caused by too much trust between players. We advise you never to share your personal information and to create a password that is difficult to find, and to keep it secret. If you share your information, BRUMA gets free of any responsibility. You lose any recourse to recover your account.
Theft often happens when its perpetrator uses the credulity of a player in order to get his hands on an object that does not belong to him.
A scam happens when a mail hacker claims to be a member of the BRUMA team or other third party to obtain information. Please note that no member will ever ask you for your password, in game or through an e-mail, under any circumstances.

Restoring Items or Characters
Bruma Studios does all that is necessary to provide a stable game environment that ensures the integrity of virtual data to which you are given access to. If a mistake caused by a technical problem depending on the tools that we provide to you should occur, we are committed to fix or to give back what has been damaged or lost within a maximum period of 7 days. Within that time period, we do not reimburse customers and ask you to be patient.
In-game Communication
The communication tools that Bruma Studios puts at the disposal of its customers are under the responsibility of the latter. Bruma Studios reserves the right to intervene and to sanction any communication that does not respect the rights of individuals. Sanctions will vary depending on the seriousness of his words and determined by a Game master.
Are prohibited :
-Everything about pedophilia or referring to sexual abuse by an adult on a child,
-Any violent remark or referring to violence,
-Any threat or appearance of a threat in real life,
-Any remark inciting to discrimination or racial or ethnic hatred,
-Everything about disclosing personal information from the real life of a person without his or her prior consent,
-Any judgment of religious nature referring to real life,
-Any remark inciting to sexual discrimination, for example, in regards to sexual orientation,
-Any defamatory remark or akin to defamation,
-Any form of harassment or akin to harassment towards a group or an individual,
-Any remark where sexual, obscene or vulgar references are made,
-Any remark referring to the use of drugs or to activities prohibited by law or international conventions,
-Any speech disclosing a way to cheat on the game or encouraging to cheat,
-The ''troll''; speech that is insidiously trying to divert the topic of a discussion to generate conflicts or inciting to a controversy or provoking other participants,
-Any speech designed to undermine the cordial atmosphere on the game, disrupting an area or which may be harmful to one or more player (s) in any way,
-The ''flood''; action to send the same message or a message of the same kind repeatedly to overburden, or impair the legibility of communication tools provided by BRUMA,
-The publicity for a service or product that is not related to the activity of BRUMA,
-Any commercial activity on products rendered available by BRUMA (ex; selling your character or account).
Public discussion channels
The category of public chats is those created by Bruma Studios that can be read by all the players connected. Game Masters will be especially vigilant and quick to react regarding all activities prohibited in the list above. When a Game Master will be called upon to intervene, they will do so according to the method mentioned below, in order to provide a gaming experience enjoyable for the whole community of players.
Local conversations
Local conversations are the ones shared between players, which are considered as dialogues. They are subject to the same rules as those of the other communication tools given by BRUMA, although the GM can be less strict in the application of forbidden elements according to the more private aspect of the exchanges.
Private conversations
Private conversations are either those exchanged between two players or discussion channels created by the users. The GM will only intervene when the gravity of the comments is considered as requiring an immediate action. At any time, the player can use the '' Ignore List '' option (…) to block on his screen the comments held by another player.
Sanctions
Black Moon Chronicles-Winds of War is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), which implies a struggle between the forces of good and evil. There is no need to contact us when your character is killed by a member of the opposing faction. We advise you to use your vigilance, to travel in groups when you go into hostile territory and to choose the best time to visit an area controlled by an individual or group of individuals.
The team of Bruma Studios makes every effort to provide an atmosphere of fun in the game. To this end, it is sometimes necessary to use sanctions to control certain attitudes that threaten the quality of play of the entire community of players. Sanctions are usually preceded by a warning, although it is sometimes necessary to apply a more immediate punishment ranging from suspension to the closing of the account. When a Game Master intervenes, it does so privately. You lose the ability to communicate on our communication tools until a decision is taken.
Warnings
The warnings are used by our Game Masters to inform our customers that they violate one or more rules on the charter. Most of the time, it is a transgression that can be avoided through a better understanding of the charter. The GM will inform the player of the rule to promote understanding of the player warned. When a player ignores repeated warnings, the GM will make a temporary suspension of the account.
Account suspension
Account suspension occurs either when a player violates the rules so that he or she disrupts the atmosphere of the game, or when he multiplies warnings. Most of the time, the player has been warned beforehand, if the violation of the charter requires more ability to react from the Game Masters, they can suspend an account without previous warning. The player will be informed that his account is suspended when he or she is in-game or through an e-mail. The duration of an account suspension varies according to the gravity of the infraction and the number of penalties already applied to the account. The player cannot accede to his or her account for a period of three hours, twenty-four hours, or of 48 hours.
Bruma Studios reserves the right to close an account if you break the present contract. Bruma Studios reserves the right to modify this charter at any moment; the changes that are made will be announced in the ''Announcements'' section of the forum as well as on the site.
Bruma Studios cannot be forced to reimburse a customer because of a loss of enjoyment or a technical problem.
Although the staff of Bruma Studios does everything in its power to offer a continual service and a stable product, free of errors or from dangerous constituents, we cannot be considered responsible for a loss of enjoyment.
